SF Open Studios Financial Aid

In 2009, ArtSpan offered financial aid packages to artists in need, specifically artists on an income-based city, state, or federal assistance program.
 
If you are not on such a program but had a gross household income of less than $25,000, have less than $3,000 in assets, and are not a dependent, you also may qualify.
 
If selected, the fee to be a Premier Artist is $100 or to be a Participating Artist is $50.
 
Please request assistance by sending a letter addressed to "San Francisco Open Studios Committee" to:

Please remember to include your name and telephone number in the body of the letter. With this letter enclose one of the following:
a) The first page of your most recent tax return
or
b) Confirmation that you are on an income-based assistance program, such as Section 8 Rental Voucher, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, California Lifeline Telephone Program, California Alternate Rates for Energy, or Family Electric Rate Assistance Program.
