SF Open Studios Membership Benefits & Registration Deadlines

To participate in SF Open Studios at two different studio locations on two different weekends, visit Online Registration and repeat the online registration process. Once you have completed your first registration fee payment, these discounted rates will be available:

* Second Premier Artist Membership: $110

* Second Participating Artist Membership: $75

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND ALL BENEFITS THOROUGHLY BEFORE REGISTERING

• ONLY PREMIER Artist Members (before May 14 deadline) are included in the PRINTED version of the SF Open Studios Guide magazine and are eligible to submit one 20" by 20" original artwork to the SF Open Studios Exhibition at SOMArts Main Gallery (additional space reservation form required).
• Artists that register after May 14 and the pay $125 registration fee will NOT be included in the printed SF Open Studios Guide magazine or be eligible to submit their artwork to the SF Open Studios Exhibition.
• Registration information, fee payment, and artwork images will be accepted ONLY via the online registration site (available in early 2010). ONLY digital artwork images will be accepted; slides and discs will NOT be accepted.
• All deadlines are absolute. Postmarks are not accepted. Late registrations may incur a non-refundable administrative fee and are not guaranteed inclusion in the SF Open Studios Guide (printed or online versions).
• ArtSpan communicates important, time-sensitive information to SF Open Studios artists via e-mail. Please place "artspan.org" on your e-mail contact safe-list or address book to prevent e-mails from ArtSpan to be marked as junk mail.

PREMIER Artist Membership Benefits
SPECIAL EARLY BIRD PREMIER ARTIST MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTED RATE $170 UNTIL APRIL 27 (only payment due by April 27; image and completed forms due by May 14)

EXTENDED Deadline: May 14, 2010, 5:00 pm, $185 regular rate (deadline applicable for ALL required materials)

• Studio information and one color image in the PRINTED Guide (print run of 25,000). One 300 dpi, CMYK TIFF file, 2.5 inches/750 pixels on the longest side, smaller than 5MB required (this is the only image that needs to be submitted). Slides NOT accepted.
• Studio information and one color image in the ONLINE Guide.
• Eligibility for one 20" x 20" space in the SF Open Studios Exhibition
(space reservation forms due August 23 will be sent separately)
• ALL benefits of Participating Artist Membership (see below)

PARTICIPATING Artist Membership Benefits

Early Bird Special: $95 now through July 31, increases to $125 from August 1 to 23.

Deadline: August 23, 2010, 5:00 pm (applicable for ALL required materials)
