Artist Membership Benefits
SF Open Studios exposes local artists to thousands of art patrons, admirers, and collectors! If you are an individual artist living and/or practicing in San Francisco you are eligible to register for SF Open Studios. Each artist must register online, submit all materials by the appropriate deadline, and display and sell current original artwork, made by him/herself. Group sites must feature five or more artists at a single location.
Register Online! * Be sure to have your Guide artwork image ready when you register! Image file specs: 300dpi, CMYK TIFF file, 2.5 inches/750 pixels on the longest side, smaller than 5MB required.

SF Open Studios Artist Membership Benefits:
PREMIER Artist
Early Bird Premier: Discounted Fee / Deadline: $170 / May 31, 2012, midnight
Regular Fee / Deadline: $185 / JUNE 25, 2012, midnight
- Studio information and one color artwork image in the PRINTED Guide (print run of 20,000).
- Image file specs: 300dpi, CMYK TIFF file, 2.5 inches/750 pixels on the longest side, smaller than 5MB required. Slides not accepted. TIFF image must be ready to upload at time of fee payment.
- Eligibility for one 20" by 20" spot in the SF Open Studios Exhibition (space reservation forms will be e-mailed separately)
- ALL benefits of the Participating Artist Membership (see below)
PARTICIPATING Artist:
Regular Fee: $95 / Deadline: August 24, 2012, midnight
- Official participation in SF Open Studios 2012
- Year-long ArtSpan Membership, including regular e-mail updates from ArtSpan featuring events, discounts, & artist opportunities (please add info@artspan.org to your address book to ensure that you receive these important, time-sensitive messages)
- Artist Profile page in ArtSpan's online Artist Directory, featuring: studio location, contact information, artist statement, and multiple artwork images (accessible throughout the year)
- Inclusion in the SF Open Studios maps and artist listing published online
- SF Open Studios event publicity throughout San Francisco, including online, print, radio, and television spotlights
- Eligibility for ArtSpan's Juried Exhibitions, including Selections
- Admission to ArtSpan's Professional Development Workshops
- Eligibility to submit show and event announcements to ArtSpan's online calendar, events listing, and monthly eNewsletter (6,000 recipients)
- Eligibility to apply for a Teaching Artist position in ArtSpan's Art for City Youth Program for the 2011 - 2012 school
year. - Admission to ArtLaunch 2012 with discounted VIP option, plus 2 free drink tickets (Date TBA)

* Please note that artists that register after the Premier Artist Membership JUNE 15 deadline will NOT be included in the PRINTED SF Open Studios Guide or be eligible to submit work to the SF Open Studios Exhibition.
* Discounted registration fees for artists who participate in SF Open Studios at two different studio locations during two different weekends:
- Second Premier Artist Membership: $110
- Second Participating Artist Membership: $75
